MOLLIS for Made by Hand - we have finished knitting

While most pendants are made of glass or metal, Mollis is knitted in 3D.

The knitted lampshade is pulled over a metal frame, a bit like, well … a pullover. It’s a very simple construction with minimal material consumption, and the shade can be easily removed to be washed or replaced.

Soft, elegant and understated, Mollis is timeless like a cathedral dome – if the dome was knitted, that is.

New wall lamp for MUUTO

While it is inherently functional, it is also a work of art in its own right.

Under The Bell in Dark Green

Designed in a material that uses up to 41% fibers from recycled plastic bottles, the Under The Bell Pendant Lamp not only brings a tactile and modern expression to any space but also impacts the acoustics of a room through its soft shade, paired with its graphic lines and subtle color palette.

Fiber Chair is now made using minimum 80% recycled plastic, mixed with up to 25% FSC™-certified wood fibers.

A Space for Being

A Space for Being is a collaboration between Google Design Studio, the International Arts + Mind Lab at Johns Hopkins University, Reddymade Architecture and Muuto. In an interactive multiroom installation during Milan Design Week the exhibition will explore the field of neuroaesthetics and how design and the elements around us have the potential to impact our biology and well-being. Several designs by Iskos-Berlin are the part of this installation.
